I am the Alderman for the Ward of Dowgate in the City of London. I have represented the residential and business electors in the Ward since 1991 and was re-elected for a further term of 6 years in January 2009. I live and work in the City and am passionate about promoting the world's financial centre.

As well as acting locally, I represent the City in its many spheres of influence and promote the City brand at home and abroad. Please look at the other pages on this site that cover my biography, Ward priorities and credentials.

I regularly meet with businesses residents and commuters in the Ward, please see the Contact page for details.

As an Alderman:
- I have the experience and understanding that is needed to deal with problems and make things work
- I have the commitment to serve and press through issues which can be complex
- I know the people and the relevant City institutions that can help you find short cuts to the right solutions
